Interval Yoga 30 Day Challenge ~ Day 2

Anybody else sore from yesterday's practice? If you don't use it you lose it, and now it's like starting all over to gain the strength and flexibility. My sleep was sounder though with dreams more on the peaceful side. Remember to go with the flow and not get frustrated over not having full range of motion, it comes in time. So here's today's video, don't forget to check into Instagram with your selfie after your workout with #intervalyoga30daychallenge.

Do you do your toes for your yoga pose?

Since us yogis are in poses that constantly have us looking down, why not dress them up. Mine are Sally Hansen Insta Dry 424 Set Sail painted for the 4th of July at the beach. I tend to slip on my mat especially in these hot days , so I was so excited to score these Nike Studio Wraps at Ross for $11.00.

How ever you dress them up or dress them down, take time to fully appreciate how your feet and legs support your body.

  1. Ok, here's my incredibly annoying question (since I come from the same place) - aren't these challenges just typical behavioral things, the kind of things our psyches are looking for..? Then when we get bored, we desperately find a new stimulant... Yoga is great for the body and mind, for sure, but it will likely be replaced by "raw food", drink, jogging, drugs, whatever - right? Or am I just jaded?
Please don't take offense. I struggle every day, and I am really looking for the truth from fellow people on the path.

  2. It's true I was looking for a new stimulant and healthy daily focus. Iv'e been off and on with yoga and with the challenge I'm hoping to make it a daily practice that sticks. And yes I get where your coming from with this question, and who knows what my chaotic mind might go for next, that is a daily struggle of my thoughts over actions. Hopefully not alcohol though. been successful so far with my sobriety.

    1. Thank you for your honest reply. I was feeling a bit low last night when I wrote that comment, I'm glad you didn't take offense. I hope this challenge is what you need to start a good yoga routine for yourself!
