A House Divided

This post is long overdue, I wished to share our move earlier but needed time to go retrieve photos and find the time. We have been here in Texas for 8 months now. Here's the low down of truly being blessed and having divine timing when it came to our land and then home purchase in the same day! The land purchase story can be read here. We had land but now we needed a house. Putting trailers on land is a very common thing here in the wooded part of Texas. We loved the 2 acres , trees , pond, space. So we bought a repo off a lot a few hours after we went to the little oldschool downtown tax assessor office and payed for our land. I'm amazed we secured our next home in less than a month since we sold our home in California. The house was delivered in mid December. That yellow machine was hand operated by the man in the second picture and positioned by remote control! Being a repo this made our new home our first Texas Fixer Upper. Oh but y'all  {okay no I have not developed a southern speech, I do it for emphasise đŸ˜‰ }know how much I'm down for the home improvement challenges. Oh and this one was a doozy, but it was necessary to have a livable habitat for the tribe. Stay tuned for our before and afters.
