Frida & Diego have been visiting my yard daily for the last 3 years. They have a consistent routine of meeting on the old metal antenna on the roof, then proceed to the bird feeder for a meal, enjoying the fountain for a drink, and then flying over to the fence to make out before heading back to the roost. Ohh those love doves!
Look at all that flirting and kissing. You are so good at capturing nature and the relationships it births. Just precious.
ReplyDeleteOh, and I'm all grins because you named them. :-D
This is so beautiful. I'm happy that you shared this. :)
ReplyDeleteFrida and Diego have become part of your family, Holly. I've never seen doves show affection with each other, how sweet. This is so funny because last night I saw two doves on my back yard fence. I think they were a couple too.
ReplyDeleteHave a fun weekend.
love, ~Sheri
I have Doves in my backyard, but they are pretty shy as I have never seen them; however, I can hear them.
ReplyDeleteSo lovely!
ReplyDeleteWe have a pair of tiny sparrows living under our roof, and we have witnessed their entire courtship, relationship, nesting and procreating <3
