Let's do a little time travel, shall we. Many future post this month will be from the last 5 months in our "Life In The Time Of Coronavirus". August is here and with that comes the last month of Summer Break. Here in our neck of the woods school will commence on the last day of the month...and that is if things don't change. My Senior has opted for online learning, and the other two will attend High School and Elementary. The heart breaks for my children, and the nostalgia of how school used to be. These times have changed the social aspects of school ceremonies and rights of passage. We shall persevere.
At the end of Spring Break in March, we decided to visit a new library a little ways out from our town. We had found a library, memory garden, and museum all in one. Planning to go back was on the agenda for the future. The very night of our outing Covid cases in Montgomery County were announced, the state started shutting down, quarantine had begun. One last hurrah of walking outdoors without a mask or knowing life was about to change.
